About Emirates

Emirates, a subsidiary of The Emirates Group, is based out of the Dubai International Airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1985 and currently operates flights to over 130 cities across 6 continents with a fleet of 200 Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Their frequent-flyer program is called Skywards.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available on the Emirate's website from 24 hours up to 90 minutes before scheduled flight departure. It is only available at select airports and is not available if the first flight in your itinerary is not an Emirates flight.

Hand baggage allowance

The amount and weight of cabin luggage allowed on-board depends on the passenger's class of travel:

Economy Class: 1 piece, maximum dimensions of 55 x 38 x 20cm, maximum weight 7kg
First Class and Business Class: 2 pieces (briefcase + hand bag), maximum dimensions of briefcase 45 x 35 x 20cm, maximum dimensions of handbag 55 x 38 x 20cm, maximum weight of both pieces 12kg

Checked baggage allowance

The free checked baggage allowance weight depends on the class of travel:

Economy Class: 30kg
Business Class: 40kg
First Class: 50kg

Exceptions

Emirates Skywards Platinum, Gold or Silver members, may also be entitled to additional allowances.

The flight was good. Except no foot rests after a long flight u don't know how sit comfy lift the pressure off your feet. Food not so good on the plane. Other wise everything was good.

Great experience but one minor issue. The staff in Bangkok only gave me the ticket to my scale in Dubai and i need another to complete the flight between Dubai (the scale) and Copenhaguen (my final destination). The Staff in Dubai solve very efficiently the problem with no consecuences.
