There are some great travel bloggers our there, but here are the ones that really made an impression (in no particular order) ! We asked them to tell us a thing or two about their adventures and why they love to travel. This is what they told us:

1. What does the word “travel” mean to you?
For us, travel is about personal discovery. Whether you’re experiencing a destination for the first time or returning to a familiar favourite, travel has the power to completely change the way you think, act and feel.
2. Why did you decide to start a travel blog?
We started our travel blog in 2008 as a way to document our travel experiences and communicate with friends and family while on a trip around the world. We enjoy writing, photography and social media, so we decided to keep it going after we returned home. It has since evolved into a family travel blog with the recent addition of our two boys.
3. What is your fondest travel memory?
One travel experience that stands out from the rest is exploring Easter Island. We rented a 4×4 jeep for two days, allowing us to circle the island and visit all of the peculiar moai statues.
4. If you had to recommend two travel blogs, which would they be?
Tough one. It really depends on what we are interested at the time (ie. adventure, luxury, family, etc). We’ve been following more family travel blogs lately, so I’d recommend Craig and Caz from yTravelBlog. We also enjoy reading Hecktic Travels, Migrationology and Wandering Earl.
