Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays in the United States, and quite frankly, one of the tastiest! Since the first Thanksgiving in 1621, Americans have been giving thanks and chowing down on the fourth Thursday of every November. If you live outside of the U.S., you don’t necessarily have to catch a flight to the United States to celebrate all you are thankful for, instead you can re-create a traditional Turkey dinner of your own, wherever you may be.
These are our picks for 11 essential dishes for a very happy (and full) Thanksgiving.

What you need: the plumpest, juiciest turkey you can find.
